Contact Wilkinson County Offices

This private reference site is not a government office. It cannot verify custody, arrange release, post bond, or retrieve official booking records. For any of those matters, use the appropriate public office below.

Official Record Contacts

For a current county-jail question, jail-docket inquiry, or a written request for a booking record or photograph, begin with the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office. The indexed official page identifies the sheriff as county jailor, but it does not publish records-counter hours, a public roster, a fee schedule, or an online request form. Confirm the current email, address, and routing before sending a request because the live county page showed content-integrity issues during research.

For a criminal case after booking, route the question to the proper criminal clerk rather than assuming the visible electronic-court system handles every matter. The Circuit Clerk is J. Lynn Tolliver Delaney, PO Box 327, Woodville, MS 39669, 601-888-6697, circuitclerk@wilkinson.co.ms.gov. The Justice Court Clerk is Keyondra Jarvis, PO Box 40, Woodville, MS 39669-0040, 601-888-3538. The county courts page identifies the court structure; confirm which clerk has the case before filing or requesting records.

Choose the Right Lookup Route

Use the source that matches the record sought and the person’s custody stage. An online absence is not confirmation that no record exists in Wilkinson County.

  • For a recent booking, custody, bond, release, transfer, or a county booking-file request, start with the sheriff and use the home records guide for the documented request path.
  • For a warrant or wanted claim, contact the sheriff directly and read the verification notes on Sheriff’s Most Wanted.
  • For a Centreville or Woodville arrest report, contact the arresting department and separately ask the sheriff whether the person entered the county jail.
  • For a state-sentenced or MDOC-managed person, use the official MDOC inmate search or its written records-request route. Wilkinson County Correctional Facility is a separate MDOC-managed facility, not the county’s fresh-booking system.
  • For federal custody, use the Bureau of Prisons locator. For immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator. Neither replaces the sheriff or the criminal court record.
  • For a later disposition, case number, or court filing, ask the Circuit Clerk or Justice Court Clerk based on the case type.
